i have a "rep. of texas" bearer bond dated 1839 which promises to pay $100 to the bearer at the treasury dept.  also, i have a bearer bond that promises that the "govt. of texas" will pay $20 to the bearer at the treasury dept. in one year from date with interest therin at the rate of 10% per annum by virtue of an act of congress.  dated 9th of june, 1837.  henry smith, treasurer.  sam houston, president.  what would these be worth, and who might be interested in buying them?
