93 eurovan gas/water gauge not working.  I've seen other 93's for sale with the same problem.  Is there a simple fix or recall replacement.  Any help welcome. Thanks

The problem is a break in the circuit on the back of the gage which must be soldered. Any shop that should be working on your van should know about it, if they don't move on. Requires removal of dash cluster and delicate work.
