Would it be safe for us to get an amazon grey parrot if we have a black labrador 1 1/2 years old???

hi i have 3 dogs and a grey parrot.they do fine.

Only if you manage it well!  Labradors certainly like to retrieve birds!

sure, just introduce them slowly. my lab puppy licked the cage and stared at my parrots for a while and then he ignored them and started to chew on the cage. the birds were fine too except they didn't really like my lab. however if you keep them out of reach everyone's happy.

I have a choc lab who loves my africian but my golden would love to eat her so it really depends on the dog and how you handle the dog.  I foster and have really had no problem with labs just with the goldens
