I am a diabetic and must give myself one shot a day.What is the procedure for taking diabetic testing equipment on board with you.  Also can you take a cane on board .

i am a diabetes i need a shot every 12 hour

I don't think it's a problem, but any definite answer I give or anyone else's could change at any time, so best bet is to call your airline or any airline and ask them. It was fine last time I flew (just had them in my pouch which they x-ray during check-in). I can't really imagine a lancet being a security threat, certainly can't kill with it, and with most of the finger-pricking lancet devices the metal is so small, it has less injury potential than a single thumbtack.
