Please go to Saudi Embassy New Delhi with finger print attested by local police + Collector + State Govnt + Miniistry of external affairs.

I got it like this. New Delhi Saudi Embassy is very very cooperative. Mumbai embassy is hopeless where they never awnser properly.

Best luck

1.   Send a fax to "Embassy of Canada" requesting the details for getting the PCC with the following details

Name:
File #:
Passport #:
Iqama #:
Sponsor:
Residence Address:
Mobile:
Email:

Also, need to FAX the letter from the embassy related to PCC (if any), passport copy and Iqama copy.

According to Canadian embassy, they will respond to the FAX in 48 hours. If a call is not received within 48 hours, call up the embassy and ask for it. If that doesn't work, re-FAX the details once again.

Note: They don't entertain phone calls. All the communication has to be over FAX only.

Canadian Embassy Phone #: +966-1-4882288
              FAX #: +966-1-4889657

Duration: 30 minutes

2.   Upon receipt of the details, the embassy will send a "Registered" mail to the address mentioned by the applicant. They will get a confirmation over phone before sending the registered mail. The registered mail will have a letter to the police officer in Arabic. The letter will be on a letter head of visa section and have the embassy seal.

Note: The registered mail will not have any other instructions other than the letter. There is a place in the letter to fill up the name and the passport number. This can be either filled in Arabic or in English by the applicant.

Duration: 2 to 3 Weeks

3.   Need to take this letter to "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" and get the same attested by paying SR35 (Saudi Riyals) in one of the counters (4 & 5).

Note: The payment is accepted only by Credit/Debit Card.

Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour (for getting the attestation/Stamping)

4.   Need to take the attested (stamped) letter to the Police office (details give below) in Deerah (Near to Batha) and apply for the police clearance. The police office opens at 8am.

Once entered the main gate, there is an office on the left where they accept the stamped letter. The police officer himself fills up the form (if the applicant doesn't know Arabic) after getting the letter (from the embassy), one passport size photograph and after showing the original Iqama (Resident Permit).

Once the application form is filled, the police officer will give a receipt and will take the finger print of both the hands. Once the finger print is taken, the applicant can leave. The PCC, which is nothing but the same form (with photo and finger print) with a seal (saying that there is no criminal record) and signed by the top police official, can be obtained from the same office after 3 days. While collecting, need to go to the office that is right opposite to the main gate.

The Police office name is Adilla Al Janaeyya (Arabic), near Mahkama Al Kubra (Supreme Court in Arabic). Most of the Taxi drivers in Riyadh know about this office.

Note: Need to take original Iqama. There is no fee for getting the PCC. All the details will be in Arabic. It is better to be there in the police office for this task at 8am sharp to avoid delay. The same is applicable for getting PCC.

Duration: 4 days (Applying-30minutes, Collecting-15minutes)

5.   After getting the PCC, need to go to any certified translation center (there are many in Riyadh) and get it translated. The translation charge will be around SR45.

Note: When the name that is written in Arabic is translated to English, there is a possibility of spelling mistake. So, it is better to provide a copy of the passport for the correct spelling.

Duration: 15-30 minutes
