I have a 3.3 1996 plymouth voyager. My service engine light came on. Took ot to part store showed a code PO401. EGR. Called repair shop to get price of diagnostics test. The tech said it was a transmission code needs to check trannie. What? Anyways should I clean everything out before taking it to be tested? Or if I take it to the shop will they be able to take a snapshot of the exact Problem? I'm A lil scared?I know it could be the hoses, EGR valve or a couple other things prompting the 401 code. Anyone have any advise
