Hello, I have a 2 pugs and I have some ?'s. I will give you a little background information before I ask my questions. My male is black, pet quality, DOB 3/2004, and has a California coat (single coat) . My female is fawn, show quality,DOB 8/2004 she has a double coat. I think both of them were the runts of the litter. My female is bigger than my male right now. I have not had either of them "fixed" yet. My male is skinny and my breeder said once he has mated he will fill out.I know that some of you feel that breeding should be left up to trained breeders.I would like to learn all I can before we have puppies. I do not want her to have puppies until she has had at least 3-4 cycles. OK now for my questions

Can anyone help me to good sites on  breeding female pugs cycles and ?
What should I type in the search box?(i have tried many things and get nothing back)
Will I have a mixed litter in color?
Will their fur be more of a double or single coats?
I have heard that a male will go crazy for a female when shes in "heat"( mine is in her 1st cycle) I don't think he cares is that normal?
When can she conceive? (I bought dog pants so I don't have to separate them plus they sleep with us)she loves them!!(she gets mad when I take them off)lol

I plan on giving the pups away to families that can't afford them. I have a plan on how to decide who I would give the pups to. That way I will know that my pups will have a great life. I don't want to use her for profit I may only breed her 1 time just so I can make another child's life happier. Thank you for you time and help.
