I am Russian and was just granted citizenship.  I applied for a guest visa for my son in January 2002, after my marriage and Conditional Permanent Residence.  It was denied.  In May of 2002 my son and my American husband's American daughter applied for a fiancee' visa.  All applications, support documents, background checks and 2 interviews were completed but to this day we haven't received an official decision on that fiancee' application.  My husband's daughter has since married someone else. Question: Now that I am a citizen I want to apply for my unmarried 24 y/o son with an I-130?  What should I expect?  Should I use the A# from the Fiancee' Visa application?  Will using that A# make the process a little faster or will it be detrimental to the process?
