I have 1-1,000,000 dollar promisary note from the bank of the united states,dated Dec.25th 1840 , and signed by the pres,which I can't make out. Promise to pay to_______________________,was never writen in.  No.711 on the note.Also heve 4 other promisary notes                                               1-no 808 from the state of north carolina for $1.00dated sept 1st 1862                                                1-from the bank of chattanooga dated jan.4th 1863                                                1-from the cotton planters loan association of the fifth congregational district of south carolina , dated 15th may 1862                                             And finally 1-from the treasurer of the state of texas to pay for military service $5.00,dated Oct. of 1862
