I am doing research on buying two Giant Alaskan Malamute...

I am doing research on buying two Giant Alaskan Malamute pups.  I will not be purchasing these pup for a few years yet, but  would like to get in touch with a few prospective breeders who are known and have a good reputation.  I have owned one Malamute in the past and feel the breeders did not provide me with a pure Malamute  but rather game me a Malamute/wolf mix.  They had been in trouble for this in the past and I suspect, due to the features, that it was a possibility.  I was only in high school at the time when  I purchased him, and was ignorant as to what to look for in a good breeder.  After 3 years of owning my dog, I had my first child, and my beloved dog attacked the baby and bit him in the head.  I suppose he was trying to teach pack placement but nonetheless I had to end up selling him .  He went to a good home, a family who could afford (and with no small children) to handle his mishaps(which are many more that I never mentioned in this post).  Well so my love for the Giant Alaskan Malamute still stays strong and I would like to start over now that I am much older and much wiser .  If anyone can point me in the write direction I would greatly appreciate it.  By the way when I purchase the dogs I will be living Washington state, so if there are any within the vicinity that I can go visit, that would be great as well.
