How do I save a BASIC program to floppy?

I think you format the disk then type "save xyz".  To load it, type "load xyz".  Xyz of course being whatever nazme you choose.  Its been a few years though.  I might be forgeting something.  I still use the 8 bit but havent programed in a long time

You would type:

SAVE"Dx:FILENAME

Where x is the drive number and filename is the name you want to save it as.
