What breed of dog is Buck? I need photos please

Buck is a Briard, a herding dog that originated in France.

In one episode kelly was quite dispondent over Buck's death.  Was she that attached to Buck in real life?  What about the other cast members?  Were they also attached to Buck, and how did they respond to his retirement and later his death?
