All four of my grandparents were born in Ireland. If I get Irish citizenship, will my children and grandchildren be eligible for Irish citizenship?

Only children born after you become a citizen are Irish citizens.

Yes, your children, et al will be eligible to be Irish citizens as well.  They will have to apply, just like you have or will be, but as the family link will not be broken, they will still be eligible for citizenship
