I have three dimmer switches in a row  in my kitchen.  When I leave my lights on for an hour or more, the switchplates get VERY hot....almost too hot to touch. I know that sometimes switchplates that house dimmer switches can get warm, but this seems unusual. I had an electrician come out, and he said it seemed normal. Does this sound right to any of you? Should I try reducing the wattage of the bulbs? Thanks.
