Can anyone recommend a good clean power amp for my studio monitors (krk rock-its)? Rather not pay more than $750. Best to go with high end consumer audio amp?

First, if your studio is say 20x20, a Carvin
HD 900 will be more than enough. 200 watts
per @ 8 ohms, 300 @ 4 ohms. USA made $299.99
If you want a little more, The HD 1800 will kick out 350 watts at 8 ohm, and 600 at 4 and could do a live gig for 500+ people. Remembrer, if chain 2, 8 ohms speakers together, it becomes a 4 ohm load. The HD1800 is $329.99. Go to Carvin.com for spec. Teks will help.
