Question about a second generation 1989 Chevy s-10 2.5 TBI. I was tuning the truck up and the firing order got screwed up. I pulled out my hanes book and followed the order there which was 1-3-4-2. It didn't help. I checked the cap and the rotor button and tried just about every combo I could think of. I even checked my 86 s-10. its got a 2.5 in it also and the order is the same but number one on the cap is different. Could the timing have jumped on me? and if so do i need to just turn the distributor or does the chain need to be replaced? please e-mail any answerers to Recon3862@yahoo.com any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
