We operate Netware 5 ,win 95 and 98, and use broadband internet connection.

We recently reloaded the original win 95 onto an older PC (Compaq). It works well in the Novell environment, and email works (though it is receiving from the server not the net). IE5 works (accesses intranet ok  - and would probably dial up, though I haven't  tested this.)
However it will not connect to the Internet. I have compared network settings, protocols etc with other PCs on the network and cannot see anything different
and have no idea why it does not work.

Has anyone got any bright ideas.
