What is the future of Automation or Control Engineering and/or PLC programming? I got into PLC'swith the equivalent of a BS in CS 30 yrs ago. Now you see most PLC programming jobs requiring a BS in EE. Often times I am treated as a consultant because with my experience I come in and clean up and make things work. Sometimes I work independently and that makes me nervious concerning liability. Do you have any PLC liability horror stories.
