I have a female poodle that we bred to a male poodle.  He first breeding was on the 10th of May, she was due on the 13th of July.  Other than her nipples being a bit bigger and her sides a bit bigger, she shows no signs of being pregnant.  She sleeps alot but noticed nothing else.  She was bred about 4-5 times in May.  Someone please give me advice.

well she should be giving birth to her puppies soon if she was bred in may. Her nipples getting bigger and her stomach are sign she is pregnant. If she as lost her appitite and is sleeping a lot those are also signs. She may have become more aggressive.

Thanks for the reply.  I am now calculating from her last breeding date and that would have been on May 16, giving her a due date of July 18-19,  She is such a tiny dog, I do feel what I think is a puppy, but not sure.  Her nipples are a bit bigger and her sides are too, no milk yet, and haven't seen puppies move.  The vet told me that some dogs don't even show if there are few puppies.  So I have been keeping a close eye on her and will give her to the 19th then off to the vet if I notice anything more.  I will keep u posted!  If any more advice please let me know.

Just to keep everyone up to date on my female.  She is now 1 day late (from the last day of breeding), and she has been having alot of mucous these last couple of days and hides alot.  Other than that there has been no other symptoms.  Anyone having any advice please write to me.

PREGNANT TOY POODLE - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE READ THIS!

I went through the same thing in February with my tiny toy poodle. I couldn't tell for sure if she was pregnant or not, and knew when my dogs mated and caculated the date. Sure enough, around the date, although no real signs of pregnancy, she started to deliver. She only had one puppy, but the puppy was too big and she wasn't delivering it.It was a Sunday, so, we had to rush her to the animal hospital emergency room. We got there too late and the puppy was still born. We almost lost my poodle as well as the baby. If you "think" your poodle is pregnant, PLEASE, take her to the vet and have her x-rayed. It may cost you around $100, but it will save you over $500 later which is what I spent in the emergency room and may save the life of your dogs. This way, your vet will also be on standby for when your dog delivers in case of any emergency. Toy poodles, especially the very small ones are known for having c-section deliveries or having rough labor. This alone can kill your dog from the trauma and strain. Please at least consider this as the best for your dog.
