I've heard that Chihuahuas do not get along well with strangers. I was hoping that I could take my new puppy places with me, after her shots and the regular routine so she is comfortable, without her barking and/or nipping at people. Also, do they get along well with other pets? Thank you.

If you socialize them around people they will get used to it. You do have to be careful around young children, because they will get frightened because of their size. But, they will be fine if you start them young, after they have had all their vaccines of course.
