i have a basset hound who gets up stairs and pees on everything even the bed!! what can i do to stop him? he is almost 9 years old and i don't want to leave him out all day b/c his hair is falling out... what the best advice to stop him?

your dog should not be climbing stairs in the first place as bassets can develop disc problems through this. so why not buy a stair gate it will be good for his back and stop him peeing upstairs at the same time
