I have a 2002 Tundra TRD & have some of the common problems, but the most irritating is havin taken my Tundra in 6 times for brake work. They have replaced the front brakes once & 4-5 times worked & or replaced rear brake components. The truck has 22,000 miles all this began at about 10,000 & its now worse then ever. One problem I pointed out was the 5-10 mph test drive around the lot wasn't cutting it-the problem is applying the brakes over 40 mph & heavy vibration mostly in the seat(rear brakes).Would like to keep the truck, but im starting to get a lemon smell(as in lemon law). I think a very talented brake person could correct this. The dealer apparently doesn't have one!!

The truck must be retrofitted with the new redesigned front calipers.  Mention that there is a TBS (service bulletin) on this to the dealer and they should cover it under warranty.  If not, call the national Toyota number and be persistent.  Be adimant about making sure they cover this before your warranty expires. The current caliper and front brake setup generates too much heat and your front rotors warp.  You will mostly feel the shimmy when decelerating between 50-40 mph. Turning the rotors or replacing will only be temporary fix.  Also, the rear  brakes do not auto adjust like the should.  Have them do this when you take it in.  It's an easy adjustment and should not cost much, if anything.  Good luck.
