they mostly eat and gather food at night and they eat leaves and there is one particular leaf but i can't remember, sorry.

they inject a kind of chemical into their prey and it turns their tissue into a soupy mix and then they suck the inside and eat it. must taste good to them. but once they are the actually lighting bugs they are only a live for a couple of days. oh and by the way im only 17!

lighting bugs eat grass or smaller animals what they do at night is they glow up. try putting them in a jar then letting them loose in your parents room

adult bugs feed on plant necter,as baby larva they eat worms,snails,slugs,and off dead animals

WELL AS YOU CAN SEE ITS TRUE THAT THESE LIGHTING CREATURES ARE VEGETARIANS.THAT MEANS THEY ONLY EAT FRUITS AND GREENS.RARELY TO SAY THEY DONT EAT MEAT BECAUSE THEY ARE EASY TO BE KILLED.SO IF FACE TO FACE CAME WITH A PREDATOR THEY ARE LIKELY TO GET SQUASHED. SO NOW HOPLY YOU SEE THAT THESE LIGHTING FULL CREATURES ARE   MOST HAPPY NOW THEY ARE NOT EATING MEAT TO NOT LOOSE THEIR HAPPY LIGHTING LIVES.
