dogs are born without teeth.  at three to four weeks 28 baby teeth come in.  at four to seven months the baby teeth fall out and 42 adult teeth come in.

The baby teeth should start to fall out around five to six months or so. But unlike with humans, one does not know that the dogs teeth fall out because the puppy will not bring you the tooth to give to the tooth fairy. Puppies usually swallow the teeth.
