There is a possibility of crystals or stones and therefore see a vet!  My 12 y/o chow had to be put to sleep yesterday, by choice to end her pain.  She had stones, little blood and peed constantly, on and off for the past few months. I declined surgery due to her AGE!  We walked her 3 to 4 times daily, and gave her medication to allieve the symptoms.  Give lots of TLC, medical care, educate yourself and good luck to the baby!  BE patient.
