I had surgery 3 weeks ago. Face lift, brow lift, laser to uper and lower eyes.  Everyting seems to be healing great and I only have a little black & blue left.  My problem is my left eye.  The eye lid does not shut fully. I have a lot of tearing and discomfort.  My doctor says it will come back but it worries me.  Is this a normal condition following surgery.

My mother had blepheroplasty when she was in her her late 50's.  One of her evers never did close when she was sleeping but did when she was awaked and blinked or closed her eyes.  I don't think you can know after only 3 weeks.  I, myself, had face lift, brow lift and eyelid surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago.  It has been rough and frightening, especially the joker cheeks, one more swollen than the other.  How is your swelling??  I cannot go to church or even the grocery because I still look creepy.
