Don't listen to that damn idiot.

Take it to a vet quickly. I'm sure something bad will happen to it if you don't do anything.

I don't think you should worry about it unless he/she starts showing signs of sickness. You can consult your vet but my dogs eat roadkill all the time and they've never even gotten sick. dogs are alot tougher than most people give them credit for. Tanisha

If you had time to get on the Internet to ask your question, chances are the toad isn't the kind that hurts animals.  If you notice your dog foaming at the mouth after messing with a toad, immediately rinse it out with water.  If the dog eats the toad, you should probably get it to a vet or animal hospital right away.

The Giant toad is another toad that is a favorite among pet lovers. It is indeed giant; it can grown up to eight inches long and is very heavy. This toad is greenish-brown and covered with bumps. It has glands that can secrete a very toxic poison. The Giant toad is responsible for the death of many dogs. This toad will come into yards and eat the dogs food. If the dog would grab the toad it would be immediately poisoned.

A neighbor down the streets Yorkie bit into a toad and that night was vomiting and had diarreah, she took him to the vet and the vet said he will be sick for a couple days but that he will recover just fine, it is just the toads poison making him sick, but it is not fatal. He was better within the next couple days.

if a toad came into our yard and our dogs saw it they would probable bark at it and then go eat it it would probably make them get sleepily or have a bad eating problem or poop problem then you would know.

I have a dog that chewed on a toad the vet said to give it canned food instead of dry food because the inside of the mouth gets scratchy.  If she has bumps all over they will go away and make sure you watch the dog.

PS.You should take her to the vet for medicine that helps soreness.
