If I want to watch certain sites streaming video, it gives me a message that say I don't have mime type player installed in my mac. I thought quicktime player plays everything. Please someone help me!

try downloading realplayer some sites tell you what you need to play certain videos

Download the newest version for realplayer onto your mac computer. When you want to watch the certain video on the internet open your realplayer application and then try and watch the video. It should let you play it.
