My cat had 5 kittens we don't know who the father is one has no tail one has a stub of a tail and the other three have tails. The one without the tail has trouble walking, she trips over her back feet her rectum just opened yesterday and they are a month old she is backed up badly and we have to push out the waste ourselves is there anything we can do besides putting her down? Please tell us if you have any ideas on how to help her. I'd rather not have to put her down , but I don't have the money for an expensive operation. Thank-you Danielle;I'm only 13.

I am so sorry to tell you this, but I am afraid that there is little, if not nothing you can do for it. I understand how you feel, though, I have kittens, too, it would be awful to have to put one of them down! but, you really are doing it a favor to put it to sleep. It would be awfully hard and painful for him/her to go through life like that.  Just think about that precious little thing walking around, tripping all the time, and meowing in pain. I am truly sorry! If there is anything else I can do to help, e-mail me at: cowgirlgianna@aol.com

I'm really sorry, but I'm afraid the person that posted above my post is right.  Obviously the father was a manx, but I had  no-tailed kitten too, but he eventually died, so I so know how you feel.

Hi there, my cat has just had kittens, they are all adorable! The queen had 4 off springs. But one looks like it is very ill. I really don't know what to do Ive spoke to a vet and they said it would be fine, But I think there's a problem, It is not feeding off the mother I am feeding it with a syringe of special kitten milk, this is because i don't want any nasty things spreading, just encase the kitten is poorly! I have called it sweet, i don't know what the sex is yet but I think sweet suits a boy or girl. Sweet looks like he will be a black and white cat because I can see the patches on Sweets skin.                                       I hope that Sweet will pull through because he stands out from the other 3!!! But I'm still in love with the other cuties... OK then thanks for taking your time to read this long IMPORTANT! paragraph
