How old must I be to get a Labret piercing?

I live in Washington State and when I got my labret piercing I believe it said that you are suppose to be 18. I am 14, but had an adult sign - It wasn't even my own mom, it was my friend's mom and they still let me! I would recommend a labret piercing so much because they are so easy to take care of in my experience. I never had any pain because of the piercing and was able to 'play' with it right away. MUCH UNLIKE a cartilage piercing (which takes MONTHS to heal) - I think by now, that I've had my labret piercing that is has definitely healed. I cleaned the outside about once a day and used Listerine about 3 times a day and I smoke too and I don't even think you need to even clean it all that much. Just have a professional do it, good luck!

It deppends, where do you live... I think its 16 years old. But where I live (Guatemala) there is no age restriction.... :D

yeh well im 14 and i got mine done in some dodgy shop, so it really depends on the person who does it as well, unless u go to a professional one. but mines fine :D

In england its 16, but u need your birth certificate, AND your passprt, or ur parents permission, but at 18 its all up 2 u

In England the age restriction is something like 14 with parents permission?
