what type of symptoms persist when the distributer and coil need to be changed? I was told i need a new distrubuter and coil, but want to make sure this could be problem. JZ

If you have a weak coil/distributor when you try to accelerate quickly you're car or truck should miss badly, and have poor low end power. Not to mention, you're gas mileage should be 30-40% less than expected.
