the age a springer spaniel comes into season varies greatly. I was told to expect mine to come on at approximately 1 year old but she only just has done and she is 22 months! It is best to wait to spay until the first "heat" has passed so as not to disrupt the natural hormone progression, but if you do want to do it you should probably consult a vet about the youngest age they will carry out the operation.
