The social security number is NOT the mark of the beast.  Sunday worship is, rather than God's mark of Sabbath worship.  A person who has worshiped on Sunday, though, does not automatically have the mark, UNTIL it becomes an enforced law again.  Back when the Roman Catholic Church (the beast...the Protestant churches are the daughters) killed "heretics", they were killing true Christians.  That's what Revelation is talking about when their blood screams for revenge, and God tells them to wait until their fellow brethren are martyred.  They were beheaded, burned, and murdered other ways back then, and it will happen again.  Mark my words.  Anyway, I too am looking to see whether we can get rid of our SS numbers.  We got one for our first son, too, who was born at home.  From now on, we'll be birthing unassisted, and I don't think we'll be getting our children ss nos.  I don't think all the money saved from taxes is worth the government's knowing where we are.  My website is www.yeshuasaves.net Please visit.

Burn it.  That's how I did it.  The scriptures say that the mark is in your hand and in your forehead.  As long as you do not use the number, either in speech, writing, carrying it, or bringing it to remembrance, it is not in your hand or in your forehead.  Burn the card, burn anything with that number on it in your possession, cut up and burn your driver's license, because a SSN is required for one of those, as well as your draft card.  And pray for forgiveness.  Peace.

Um...SS is not the mark of the beast - it's a government program to ensure that elderly people will have at least some money to live off of when they retire. The mark of the beast will entail accepting (note that it must be voluntary for it to be a curse. if you are given it unwillingly - hence not accepting it - it will most likely not curse you) a mark or device of some sort that will reside on either your right hand or your forhead. My social security is kept in neither of those places, how about yours?

As for getting rid of SS, I don't know yet, but if I remember once I find out how I'll let you know and tell you if it worked for me - I don't want SS because it is a system designed for previous times, and is not helpful for today.

First of all it's not "Your" number.  Look on the back of the card.  Second, I bet you never applied for it.  Your parents did.  You can send papers to rescind the number but it is forever attached to you--SSA will always have a record of it.  There is no way to make it "disappear" like it never was.  Think about it.  The only thing might be to send an "affidavit of truth" to the SSA and UNITED STATES Secretary of State saying that this number was created by government for you without your consent, and that now as an adult with your new found wisdom you want no part of it.  Then never again acknowledge that you have or ever had one.  That's the best we can do for you.

The only thing that the ssn is attached to is your name. To really pry the ssn off yourself, you will have to change your name, which you have a right to do. You must not seek to evade lawful obligations - if any exist, you must carry them out to the best of your ability.
If you allow anyone to connect your new name with your old, the ssn attached to your old name will come over to your new name.
The ssa has no procedure or provision for voiding an assignment of a ssn. It (or "they") will never "shred" the file or assign it to someone else.
Now, go get a job.
Get a driver license.
Open a bank account.
Get utilities turned on.
Sell a house.
Title/register a car in many states.
Open a business.
It appears that the only way you can engage in many activities is to act under the protection of someone who has a number, such as get a numbered person to open a bank account and then have you as an additional signer. This sneaking about is offensive to a freedom-lover, but they have done this through the ages.
