if i have a card, xantid swarm, and its ability is, when xantid swarm attacks opposing player can not play spells this turn, does that man he cant play any cards?  If so could i just do this over and over till i win?

actually what its trying to say is that defending player cant play spells until end of turn.  The point of this is to stop ppl from countering your cards.  If he cant play spells he can not counter a spell that you play. Either that or to stop from playing any other spells.
