I have a 97 VW Jetta and the radio suddenly stopped working.It was working when I stopped at a gas station and returned to the car and seems to have no power.  I changed the fuse but it didn't solve the problem.  Can you offer any suggestions?  Thanks

I am having the same problem w/ my 97 Jetta after trying to install an amp.  I assumed it may be from the antitheft device built into the radio, but when i turn it on, the display doesn't even read "Safe" (as it should when power is disconnected, blown fuse, etc.). I'd also like some suggestions. Thanks

your radio lost the program..u need a new radio ..tak eit to the dealer for an exchange they will exchange it for about 200 dollars..hey u wanted an import??????

I had this happen to me. I took the stereo out and messed with the wiring to make sure there were no loose connections.  Now its working again
