WITH WW2 THE WERE REALLY REASON TO FIGHT LIKE MOST OF OUR RELATIVES ARE FROM THERE AND WE WERE COLANISED BY THE BRITISH AND NEW NOTHING BETTER OF IT. BUT WITH THE IRAQ WAR WE CAN'T FIND REASONS TO FIGHT BESIDES  SUCKING UP. WHAT ABOUT THE POOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THOSE WAR FIGHTING COUNTRIES WHO CAN'T ESCAPE. AT SKOOL YOU TEACH US THAT FIGHTING ISN;T THE ANSWER BUT REALLY THE PRESIDENTS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THE ROLE MODELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because Japan bombed Darwin and wanted to turn Australia into a gulf couse because they dont have enough space in Japan to build gulf couses.

Australia became involved in WW2 when Great Britain declared war upon Germany, Sept. 3, 1939. Australia was a part of the "Commonwealth," simply meaning that she stood beside Great Britain, & all that befell her.

One reason Australia was involved in world war two is that it still had strong bonds of loyalty to Britain in 1939, and because of this, the Australian government felt obliged to support Britain in war against Germany.

Australia was an independent dominian within the British Empire, so when Britain went to war so did Australia without question.

because we were alliances with Britian, it was our duty to fight with them and for them. Our priminister believed it was the best thing to do.

Because they were a British Nation, and England needed support in fighting Germany. They joined England late, once they were the only European power left to fight the Nazis. Australia gave men, ships, and planes to the war effort along with supplies.
