In my opinion, you should take off your piercing and clean it with some solution and apply "Bepanthene cream".

For one thing DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT! If the piercings are infected taking the jewlery out is the worse thing you can do because the piercing acts like a drain during the healing process so if you take them out the piercing will close and you just trapped an infection in your body! For one thing are you cleaning them with achol are any other type of strong chemical? If you are thats why they are red and hurt these types of chemcials kill good bacterier I would suggest cleaning with ear care solution from like Wal-mart that is only purfied water, and cleaning the piercing with dial complete soap and for the pain soak them in warm sea salt soaks for about 5 minutes each. Just make sure it is sea salt not table salt thats bad it contains idodon. You can purchase sea salt at Wal-mart also. Well good luck and happy healing!

see a doctor immediately. this could be the sign of an infection, and it could be serious. it's possible that you could have gotten a virus or disease from someone because the person who pierced your ears may not have cleaned the instrument that he pierced your ear with properly. or it may just be a  minor irritation. the best thing to do is see your doctor and ask him/her because they do know best.

Try turning the earing in your spare time or during class, work or while watching TV.  This should loosen it up away from your skin.  Also, the earing should be silver.  Non silver earrings such as nickel tend to cause infections.  This is coming from someone who has had a few piercings.  If worst comes to worst, take it out, let it close up, let it heal and go to a professional who has clean equipment and takes extra care.
