I pierced my belly button before by myself once, but it got infected and my mom found out. They told me to take it out and let it heal over, and I could get it pierced again for my birthday. This time by a perfessional. I have decided that I wanted to get the bottom of my belly button pierced since it would look grose on the top, but when I got to the piercing place, there was a really nice lady there waiting for me. she said that she was going to be the one to pierce me. I told her that I wanted to get the bottom done, but she said that she didn't know how to do that so she would have to get another lady to do it. But she also looked at the spot where I had my belly button pierced before and said that there would be no problem if I got it done in that same spot. I kind of had to make up my mind then. The lady was so nice and I wanted her to pierce me, so I went and got the top pierced anyways because I didn't know what the other lady was like. That was a stupid mistake I made cause now my belly button is still red from the last time. I want to take it out but I don't want $65 to go to waste:( I'm going to ask my mom if I can get the bottom pierced for the summer. I can take the pain. The lesson I have learnt from this is: Make up your mind fast before it's too late!

i just got my belly button pierced like a week ago and there is a red/pink ring around the top of my ball on the barbell and some puss stuff is coming out just a little and a tiny bit of blood what's going on with it is it infected?i'mworried!!

yea, its definatly infected. usually piercers allow their clients to come back for checkups every couple of week. go. also, have you been washing it twice daily with a salt and water solution> if not, go and buy some and get washing..infections are not something you want near your stomach

I got my belly button pierced last November and have had no trouble with it at all until just a couple of days ago. Beneath my bottom ball there's a red pointed bump and it doesn't look too pleasant. It's really freaking me out and I don't know what to do. I just discovered it. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks! ~Liv

yep the sames wrong with me! i dont kno what it is tho but its on the top 2! i mite go bk 2 the place where i ad it pierced...or i mite av it taken out 2 av it redone again!

i have a red bump as well right next to my barbell and to the side a little.. please can someone explain to me wtf this is??

hey... you girlz should go bk too the place you got it dont and let him or her look at it so that they can tell you what too do ... u should prob try cleaning it alot and not like touching it wouthout washing ur hands cuz then all the gross stuff that ur hands have touched ( food,things open too the public and stuff like that) and its gross lol

omg!!! i had a little bubble on the top and the bottom, so i took it out, and not its ok, im planning on getting it pierced again.

my belly where my hole is on bottom, it is all like, a red thing is coming out of the hole, and it wont come out, i think its attatched..maybe my ambilicol cord..sp?? stiking out of my ring hole.its blood red, but wont bleed, just puss!!

ok i just got my belly button periced like yesterday and the lady completely screwed up she put it way to high. I was wondering could this pose any problems. The lady i went to she told me when it healed i could take it up like the holes heal and then she would do it again for free. But i really don't want to redo it....it didn't hurt but i just don't want to...will this pose any problems the way it is now?

i just pierced my belly button 2 nights ago on my own and now its red and its sore and puffy..it doesnt really hurt but im not allowed to have it done and my parents dont know i did it what do i do???

I GOT MY BELLY BUTTON PEIRCED LIKE A LIL OVER A MONTH AGO AND I THOUGHT IT WAS FINE AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING GOOD NO PAIN OR ANYTHING WELL ONE DAY WHEN I WAS IN THE SHOWER I WAS CLEANING IT AND I NOTICED A LIL RED BUMP TYPE THING ON THE TOP LEFT OF MY BELLY BUTTON AND I AM CURIOUS IF IT IS INFECTED OR NOT ?? you guys are just the same as me .. mine has a bump on the top of it and i am wondering if i should take mine out too .. i don;t want it to become serious ,,, but everywhere you read you get a diff answer help

ok i got my belly button pierced like a month and a bit ago, the top under the ball is all red and has been so since i got it done.. it kind of hurts but there is not puss or bleeding, is it infected?

yeh i got mine peirced a week ago n its really sore n a bit red n some pus. . . im scared of having an infection n i just wanna know the quickest way to get rid of it . . . mum said she will just get me medical metho to put on it. . . will it help or should i get something else? please answer me im desperate!! lol beach_babee4@hotmail.com

i got my belly button done about 2 months ago and i think its infected. around the top ball it is kind of red and very shiny, with like white looking pus and clear stuff coming out of it...with a tiny bit of blood. and it kind of is sore. is it infected? or is this part of the "healing process?"

I got mine pierced about 2 months ago and that same pointed bubble just appeared like 2 days ago on the bottom. It's so sick! and the same thing happened to my best friend but her'sis on the top. So I don't know if it is infected or not! HELP!

iv just had mine done on saturday mornin but now it itches and its gone red around the top ball! is this normal??? n do i have to really wait like a year to change it??? and also can i go swimming???

uuh i got my belly pierced like a week ago and it's still all red....it doesn't hurt or nothing and i've been taking really good care of it becuz i got it pierced last summer and had to take it out cuz it got infected but why would it still be red??
