Is it legal for a minor, 16 years of age, to recieve a tattoo with a parents consent in the state of California?

I'm not sure but what is the legal age to get a tattoo with parental consent in Oregon? I think its stupid if it is 18 because you can get EVERYTHING pierced at 16 someone please help

I think its ok that kids at the age of 15 or older can get a tattoo with a parents consent

No.  No good artist or shop for that matter will tattoo a 16 yo even with a parents consent.  U must be 18 to get a tattoo in the state of California!!!

you have to be 18, even if your parents are ok with it, but what i suggest that you do is find someone that you know that has a tattoo, and ask them where they got it done and how well they know the person, and try to get it done by them after store hours and for a little extra cash. kinda like a under the table sorta thing. thats what i did....and im 15

nope.  no place in cali will tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent.  perhaps other states will but i know most of them won't.
