My 7 month old Golden will not eat her food over the bowl. She walks away from the bowl with a mouth full of food to eat it somewhere else, but drops most of it on the ground on the way. How can I get her to eat at her bowl?

Try standing next to her while she eats, and as she walks away, put something really yummy in her bowl, like fresh chicken or cheese or liver, and praise her when she eats directly from and by her bowl.

I think your dog just wants a new place to eat. She's probably tired of her current place of eating. It happened to me and i just moved my dog's food in another place that he is comfortable in and the dog never moved his food again ( well he hasn't moved it since!)I hope that works. Bye

HI, MAybe you can put the bowl where she drags it there. She might eat from there.
Try this site http://dog-training-breed.com . I found some useful info there, maybe you can also with your problem.
