The sonographer told me that I'm having a boy at 15 weeks. She saw something sticking out so she said that's a sign of a boy, but she didn't see the testicles. She told me to wait about two weeks because it can be a girl. What do ya ll think!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi there, this is fairly normal and acurate because at 12/15 weeks your baby is perfectly formed but both penis and clitoris are the same size as in utero baby girls have swolen bits but at about 17/18 weeks its normally told easily although it can sometimes be a little boy and be mistaken for the umbilical cord.i am just 19 weeks and it was confirmed yesterday to be a boy for definate as the little monkey was playing on the umbilical cord all through the scan...hope this helps and good luck!

I'm also 15 weeks and yesterday I was told that it's most likely a boy because she saw something sticking out and also saw something that appeared to be the scrotum but just like you she told me to wait alittle longer to really make sure because that could just be the umbilical cord

whoever told you you were having a boy should not have done so, in UK we are not told untill a 20 fetol anomaly scan and that is only if they are sure so just wait and see,
