11 is way to young, and even 13 is too young. At this age, your body is still growing, and even if you did get the piercing, it would probably end up growing out anyway as your body grows and changes. Thiswould not only be uncomfortable for you, but it would also be a huge waste of time and money. its good that you've taken the time to find out how to care for it and keep it clean, but no amount of good hygiene can change the fact that your body is still growing. if you really want the piercing that badly, id assume you'd want it to stay in your body for longer than a year or so. I had my belly button pierce at 16 and mine even started to grow out (its stopped now though). It will be a lot safer to get it done when yu get a bit older.

is 11 2 young 2 get Ur belly done because i really want 2 and i no every thing on how 2 take care of it but my mum/dad wont let me how can i get them 2 let me please help because I'm desperate 2 get it done?

11 is WAY too young... ur body is still growin, and if u pierce anything other than ur ears, ur body can reject it (push it out), and then uve wasted ur time, ur parents time, and money... and please dont pierce it ur self, thats when it gets really infected and then u have to take it out anyways... so if u decide to get it done again, it will hurt so much more cuz u'll have to get it re-pierced thru scar tissue

i think 11 is just a little to young but if you get your mom/dad to let you get it please tell me what you did cause I'm 12 turning 13 in 2 weeks but mom is still thinking i KNOW my dad will say no but i hope i can convince him......(help)

I think the age which you get pierced is totally your decision but you have to make sure you respect your parents wishes. to milkchokolate-shawty: Rejection can occur at any age in many different piercings. Chances of rejection are equally as high at any age.

i am 11 and im getting it done my best freinds have and my sister did wen she was my age and she is perfectly fine just go to the right place and wash with savalon spray and salt water it will be ok kit dosent hurt more its just like having your top ear done and that is just a pinch infact top ears worst im getting mine done next week i will tell u about it wen its done so the ppl who say it hurts are lyers and if they say no your mum and dad just get it done with a adult they cant do anything wen its done can they and by the waay i might be to skinny so watch out lol!
