Can I use my DirecTV LNB and anntena with a DVB card to watch Free-To-Air channels?

Yes, it can be used to watch free-to-air channels and it's perfectly legal.

Both DirecTV and DishNetwork LNB'sare standard 13/18v Ku band LNB's so, a standard LNB from either will work for FTA MPEG2 DVB. (Dual/single output from standard DirecTV single location dish or a standard LNB from early Dish 300/500 setups)

However, both companies are now using multi-slot satellite dishes with multiple LNB'sthat use integrated switches to allow multiple receivers to be connected, i can't say for sure if these will work.

I have seen a dual-slot Dish 500 (110/119) on a Startec (i believe) FTA MPEG2 box, which in fact received and decoded unencrypted content beamed by Dish (which there isn't much)
