Hi there,

I have 2 water dragons,1 seems to be fine and the other i'm afraid has the same symptoms as your own.I have taken her to the reptile shop and they say she has mouthrot but the mouthrot has been caused by some kind of infection. She has been at the vet too,the vet has had to put her on a strong course of anti-biotics.It seems you r water dragon has either some kind of respiratory infection or some kind of internal parasite. This can be caused by stressful environments or lack of calcium, there are a lot of things that can trigger it off.My advice is to get the wee man(or woman) to the reptile vet asap!Have you noticed a change in its apettite? My water dragons are 10 months and the other is a year and a half, their tank measures 4ft by 4ft.Sometimes if the tank is too small, this can cause infections and make them feel suffocated.Hope this has helped!!
