What would be the causes for a dog to suddenly start salivating EXCESSIVELY?  No other symptoms other than a recent home relocation.

Today my dog started excessive salivation from early morning. We live in a flat. I was perplexed. Finally I took the dog outside to allow it to urinate and defecate. The dog defecated and after that when it was brought inside the house the excessive salivation stopped! Was the excessive salivation due to fear anxiety?

I am having the same problem.  He is 7 weeks old. Hes a golden retriever. We got him a week and a half ago.  Today he started to have wet fur around his lower jaw, neck, and paws. Even his ears are wet too.  No idea why hes doing that.  have you found anything out about that?
