Hurricanes can last up to 28 days or even more.

hurricanes can last at least several months at a time, but if it hits landor cold water itslows down and eventualy dies down and stops.

hurricanes last several years, but many times in countries like south asia where there are many poor asians, they seem to attack surprisingly during the summer and last several days. The only exception so far this year, in 2006, was hurricane Bill, in Milano, Italy, when it lasted only 1 week.
