I am getting a female pug in two weeks, my brother, who lives beside me, has a male Pomeranian(about 5 lbs. full grown). From what I have read I know that pugs are hard enough to whelp as it is, But I was wondering if Anyone knows if it is possible to breed a PUGeranian (not that I want to at all) I just need to know in case of any little accidents...thanks

Actually, yes it is! We have a "pugeranian" and she is the BEST and sweetest little thing in the entire world!! They make a great mix and are quite cute! Both our dog and her brother got the best of both breeds!

There are no accidents. If you get your pug spayed by 6 months of age, you should have no accidents. Furthermore, if your brother is not intending to stud out his dog, he should be neutered by 6 months. There are enough "accidents" in our animal shelters. PLEASE do the right thing.

Yes, it is possible to have Pugeranians..I know this for a fact...my male pug has bred my female Pom twice now...both accidents. and the cutest little babies both times. I currently have some 2 weeks old...born 10-14-04. Jenny the Pom is a great Mom, and the babies look like Poppy the Pug except for bit longer noses and bit fluffier coats. Blacks masks and fawn..she is red. Good luck...nssann@aol.com

yes. it is possible to breed a pug and a pomeranian. accidents happen, if they were to breed consider yourself lucky that your female is smaller than the male. it will be easier for your dog to whelp. good luck.

YES. I have a female pom, akc, and a male pug, akc, who have had illicit affairs 4 times now. Adorable puppies...pugeranians. It is best for the mom to be the pom, because PUGS do need help whelping (like taking the sacks off the puppies, and cutting the cords) Good luck! (nssann@aol.com)

I know a man who has a PUGeranian - she is precious! She favors a pug - but a little fuzzier. He sells her pups for $350.00 and has a waiting list. If there are "accidents" with your dog, I'm certain you will not be disappointed.

You can breed any kind of dog you want, just be careful of sizes. I mean you should be fine but you don't want to breed a big male with a tiny female because she would maybe have to have a c-section and those cost a lot of $!!Plus, You don't want to take any chances of hurting or losing the female or the puppies. I have a male pug and a female pomeranian and we are almost positive they are having puppies!!!! Good Luck.

Yes, Pugeranians are actually a great Hybrid. They look like Pugs with a little bit of nose. The coat is plush and soft. They are great with other pets, children and in general a little smaller in size than the Pug.
Unlike the Puggle this breed is not hyper or as active. Never yappy or snippy. Great with children, good therapy or travler. therapy
