Maria Falconetti, the star in the silent film, THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, died in 1946. Why is that so?

She died in Buenos Aires after leaving Europe because of the great world war II. You might find some information in a film about emigration, I donīt know the name but the director is Cozarinsky
