My husband and I are considering a male JR short legged puppy from Ireland or here in France...but have had alot of discouragement! We live in Paris and do see people with JR's we live close to a big park. How are they as apartment pets? Are they truly as active as many claim...i've been told that the short legged ones aren't the "hunter/terrier" type, but I don't know how true this is. We would really like to get one but are holding off because of all the scares! Pls advise...

Yes! JRT'sare as active as they say! Probably not good for apartments unless it has a considerable amount of room for the dog to run. My JRT loves to run and I couldn't even imagine if she was in a small apartment all day.
