We have 2 Golden retriever puppies, female and male.  The female is quite aggressive at times and will growl fiercely and attempt to bite at times, when we pick her up. There are 10 weeks old.  Is this normal or sibling rivalry or a aggressive pup?

I am having the same problem with my 4 month old golden, he is a male and I have a female choc. lab (10 Months) who is extremely relaxed and never aggressive.  However the 4 month old golden does seem to get very aggressive with her he will growl and bite and her, im not sure if they are playing anymore or if he is becoming an aggressive dog. Please help if you any info.

I have two golden puppies as well. I've had my male for 7 weeks (he's 13 weeks now) and I just got a female who is 6.5 weeks. I have the same problem: the younger female seems to be very aggressive, even though the older male is much larger and stronger. I myslef am wondering if this is normal and what I should do about this behaviour if not.
